The Riverie, along with our entire team, would like to thank everyone who has sent their support during this time and we stand in solidarity with all the people of Chiang Rai as we face this situation together.
Due to several days of heavy rainfall across northern Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos, floodwaters in the region have continued to rise. This has affected multiple parts of our property, including the lawn, water park, lower-level restaurant, and parking lot. Despite our ongoing efforts to manage the situation, the flooding has worsened over time.
As a precaution, the hotel will temporarily close, with plans to reopen by October 1.
For guests with reservations from now until September 30, we are offering the option to postpone or cancel bookings without any fees.
Please note that our phone system is currently down. For any inquiries, kindly reach out to us via our Facebook inbox or email.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our thoughts are with all those impacted, and we remain committed to overcoming this together.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
