(+) The water levels in the Kok River are continuously decreasing.
(+) The hotel has started the clean-up process in the affected areas.
(+) All systems affected by the flood, such as electricity, air conditioning, and water, are being inspected to plan for repairs or replacements to restore functionality as quickly as possible.
(+) The hotel is also assisting employees who have been impacted by the flooding.
(+) The hotel remains temporarily closed, with an expected reopening on October 1, 2024, pending further assessment of the situation.
(+) Guests who have reservations to stay with us from today until September 30 can reschedule or cancel their bookings without any charges.
(+) The hotel's telephone system is currently not operational. Please contact us only through our Facebook Inbox or email.

The Riverie, along with our entire team, would like to thank everyone who has sent their support during this time and we stand in solidarity with all the people of Chiang Rai as we face this situation together.

Due to several days of heavy rainfall across northern Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos, floodwaters in the region have continued to rise. This has affected multiple parts of our property, including the lawn, water park, lower-level restaurant, and parking lot. Despite our ongoing efforts to manage the situation, the flooding has worsened over time.

As a precaution, the hotel will temporarily close, with plans to reopen by October 1.
For guests with reservations from now until September 30, we are offering the option to postpone or cancel bookings without any fees.
